Terms & Conditions
1. The Agreement
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made from Umoja Nordic AS through our online store.
The agreement consists of these terms, information provided in the ordering solution, and the order confirmation.
The agreement is governed by Norwegian law, including the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act, the Right of Withdrawal Act, the Marketing Control Act, and the Personal Data Act (GDPR).
2. The Parties

3. Prices
All prices are stated in NOK and include VAT.
The total price displayed before checkout includes all costs, including shipping and fees. No hidden charges apply.
4. Formation of Contract
The agreement becomes binding when the buyer submits the order and receives an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to cancel orders in case of obvious pricing errors, stock errors, or misuse, in accordance with applicable law.
5. Payment
Payment is made through the payment methods available at checkout.
The amount is reserved at the time of purchase and charged when the goods are dispatched, unless otherwise stated.
6. Shipping & Delivery
Order Processing
Orders placed before 16:00 are normally processed and dispatched the same day.
Orders placed after 16:00 are processed the following day.
Processing times may vary during holidays or peak periods.

Available delivery options are displayed at checkout based on your postal code.
Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time is normally 1–5 business days depending on location and shipping method.
Delivery is considered completed when the buyer or the buyer’s representative has received the goods.
Risk
Risk for the goods transfers to the buyer upon receipt.
Incorrect Address
The buyer is responsible for providing correct address details.
Additional costs resulting from incorrect information may be charged to the buyer.
7. Delay
If delivery is delayed and this is not caused by the buyer, the buyer may withhold payment, demand performance, cancel the agreement, or claim compensation in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.
8. Right of Withdrawal & Returns
The buyer has a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day the goods are received.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must send a clear notice by email within 14 days.
The goods must be returned within 14 days after notice of withdrawal has been given.
Return Conditions
• The product must be unused
• Original packaging must be intact
• Any protective seal must not be broken
For hygiene reasons, sealed products are exempt from the right of withdrawal if the seal has been broken, in accordance with Section 22 of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Refund
Refunds are issued within 14 days after we receive notice of withdrawal.
We may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or proof of return has been provided.
Refunds are made using the original payment method.
Original shipping costs are refunded only if the entire order is returned.
9. Complaints – Defective Goods
If the goods are defective, the buyer must notify us within a reasonable time after discovering the defect.
The complaint period is 2 years from the date of receipt.
The right to complain applies only to defects that existed at the time of delivery.
Synthetic braiding hair is a consumable product intended for temporary use.
Normal wear and tear, improper handling, heat styling, chemical treatment, cutting, braiding, or other processing after receipt do not constitute defects.
If a complaint is approved, the buyer may request repair, replacement, price reduction, cancellation, or compensation in accordance with the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If goods are damaged during transport or incorrect items are delivered, this must be reported as soon as possible.
In approved cases, we cover return shipping and offer replacement or refund.
11. Seller’s Rights in Case of Buyer’s Breach
In case of non-payment, the seller may claim payment, interest pursuant to the Norwegian Interest on Overdue Payments Act, and/or cancel the agreement in accordance with applicable law.
12. Privacy
Umoja Nordic AS is the data controller for personal data.
We process personal data to:
• Fulfill orders
• Deliver goods
• Provide customer service
• Comply with legal obligations
Our store is powered by Shopify. Personal data may be processed by our data processors in accordance with GDPR.
Customers have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of their personal data.

13. Dispute Resolution
The parties shall attempt to resolve disputes amicably.
If no agreement is reached, the buyer may bring the case before:
The Norwegian Consumer Authority (Forbrukertilsynet)
or
The Consumer Disputes Commission (Forbrukerklageutvalget)
Disputes may also be brought before Norwegian courts.
